Dalston Show, held on Saturday, August 12th, proved to be a remarkable success, drawing a lively and enthusiastic crowd despite initial weather concerns. Attendees were treated to a day filled with entertainment, impressive livestock displays, and a superb array of industrial exhibits.

The day's events were graced by the return of Nick Utting as President following his retirement as Secretary last year, Graham Holliday as Chair and the exciting addition of Julia Richardson as our new secretary, who exhibited outstanding organisational skills that contributed to the show's seamless execution.

From livestock displays that showcased the region's finest animals to impeccably groomed horses on parade, Dalston Show highlighted the very best that the area has to offer. The event featured over 1800 industrial exhibits that demonstrated the skills, ingenuity and flare of locals and those from away.

Entertainment was abundant throughout the day, ensuring smiles and laughter with something for everyone from falconry displays, ferret fun, circus roadshows and of course the grand parade of livestock and vintage vehicles.

Dalston Show committee extends a heartfelt gratitude to all who made the event a memorable occasion, everyone that attended and to the village for their continued support. Detailed results and photos can be found in 2023 section of the website.

As the dust settles on this year's event, anticipation builds for next year's Dalston Show, scheduled for August 10th, 2024 so save the date!
